Repotting, Take One

I'm sure there will be other repotting posts, so let's make this "Take One."

I need something to do while our wonderful house cleaner is doing her thing every other Tuesday morning, so today was repotting flowers. Twenty-four of the plants repotted were marigolds originally in egg cartons. They out-rooted their containers quickly!

You'll also notice some additional seed starts at far right. Unbelievable given my current plant mass, but true. I saw seed at the Dollar Tree for 4-for-a-dollar. Hell yeah! Habanero pepper, Serrano pepper, cabbage and Thyme! Will keep you posted on whether the peppers sprout. Peppers are indeed difficult to germinate.

A benefit of growing so many goddamned plants is that you can give some away. Our  hardworking house cleaner received a 4-pack of flowers in 5-inch compostable pots as a bonus for a spotless house, as it is every other Tuesday at around noon. And no, I won't tell you her name!
