Swedish Meatballs

These were excellent Swedish Meatballs. The recipe is from Chef John of AllRecipes fame. Here it is.

I was close on the recipe with a few changes:
  • 1/2 pound pork sausage and 1-1/2 hamburg
  • Didn't use allspice. I think I used nutmeg. I definitely used a dash of cayenne pepper in both the meat and the sauce. 
  • Added Dijon mustard to the sauce. Probably some garlic powder as well.
I like my Swedish Meatballs with Egg Noodles, cooked just enough so they're still good and firm.



I love a good Caesar Salad with Swedish Meatballs. Here's the recipe for my Caesar Salad Supreme dressing. (I don't add anchovies...)
